Kanoon Iran Persian School was founded in London in 1984 by Dr Reza Ghasemi and is one of the longest-established Persian language schools in the UK. The school was established to provide Persian language education for children of the Iranian community and has continued to operate as an independent non-profit organisation managed by an elected committee of volunteer parents and teachers following the founder's passing in 2022.

Its educational activities focus on Persian language learning alongside the study of Persian literature and culture.
